Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a process of emotional growth and learning through the use of people working with horses. This rapidly growing process involves individuals and families of all ages working with horses mainly on the ground, rather than on horseback. Similar to other therapeutic processes, such as therapeutic ropes courses, this has an added benefit of utilizing living beings to interact with the participants.

Several of the accomplishments rendered by this process are:

  • Non-Verbal Communication
  • Creative Thinking
  • Problem-Solving
  • Responsibility
  • Relationships
  • Teamwork
  • Assertiveness
  • Work
  • Leadership
  • Positive Attitude
  • Confidence
